To order DUFFY TO THE RESCUE here!
What could be better than heading to a crowded shopping center on the
Saturday before Christmas. Picture the spirit of cursing in the parking
lot, body blocking mouth-breather shoppers and spending money on people
you can’t stand?
Add in a self serving book signing of an old friend!
That’s right I’ll be signing my latest piece of crap this SATURDAY AT 3PM
AT THE BOOK HOUSE IN STUYVESANT PLAZA!
My new book, DUFFY TO THE RESCUE is a collection of Duffy short stories,
essays on basset rescue and basset hound Haiku.
That’s right, Basset Haiku.
It’s a project my friend Ginny Tata-Phillips and I did and all of the
money goes to basset hound rescue.
Yes, I know, I’m swell.
We’ll also have all three of my books, some free micro brew beers and wine
to toast the holidays with and maybe, if he behaves and gets a bath, a
visit from Wilbur Claus, my one-eyed Santa Basset.
What else could you have to do a week before Christmas? C’mon by, slug
down a beer in the hip bookstore atmosphere and grab one of my books for a
truly mediocre holiday gift for that person in your life that you feel
pretty ambivalent about!
Hope to see you there!
